Bulk Storage Tanks
LESSCO designs atmospheric and pressure storage tanks to meet
API & ASME codes. We have designed tank systems ranging in size
from 200 to 40,000 gallons. The materials of construction for
these tanks have included carbon steel, stainless steel and
aluminum. For corrosive and special applications, tanks are
lined with natural rubber, chlorobutyl rubber, Teflon, and other
corrosive resistant materials.
Tank and process ventilation systems, inventory control, leak
detection monitoring and warning systems are all a part of
LESSCO's design capabilities for bulk storage facilities, piping
systems, and secondary containment.

Piping Systems
Ensuring the safe storage and handling of your raw materials
and waste chemicals is always a concern, and LESSCO does this
through complete, integrated primary storage equipment and
piping systems which use the proper materials of construction.
Depending on the specific acid, alkaline, solvent, or resin
application, pipes are constructed of:
- Carbon Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Specialty Metals
- Plastics, including:
- PVC
- CPVC
- Polypropylene
- PTFE
- Fiberglass
Both single and double-walled pipes (secondary containment)
are constructed using the proper materials of construction for
your application and include leak detection in the interstitial
space of double-wall pipes. All piping installed by LESSCO is
fabricated, welded and installed according to ASME codes.
